Description from the pattern:…Several Viking Age objects display an ornamentation similar to the one used to decorate Sunilda, but I have taken the liberty of making a more pointed variety than is usually seen, like, for example, on the depicted bronze fragment from Solberga, Sweden.
It is set off by panels of ribbing, making the sweater seem more form fitting than the actual shape would indicate.
