This shawl is knit with fingering weight yarn, which makes it squishy, light and perfect for spring and summer!

Gauge is not necessarily important, and you can go up or down in needle size depending on the size of shawl you want. This is knit with a larger needle than recommended for fingering weight, which gives it that perfect airy feel.

Drop stitches are used throughout different parts of the pattern, as well as knit, k2tog, and kfb.
