This pattern gives instructions for making this gorgeous slouch hat - I also call it my loc tam since I designed it to pin up my locs when I don’t want them hanging down my neck. Its designed in one general size; however, it is easy to adjust the width and/or height simply by changing the hook size and/or repeating or omitting a specific round in the pattern.

Materials:
Yarn - any 4 weight (RHSS ombre was used for this demonstration)
Yardage - 175-200 yds
Hooks - 6.5mm / 5.0mm
Beads ( optional ) for the ends of the drawstring.
