This simple pattern is shown in Bernat Premier acrylic yarn, but it could be made in mercerized cotton for summer and wool for winter. The instructions are for a small adult, but it can be easily resized. The only slight tricks to making it are the pleats and I’ve provided several photos to help with that. If you can do chains and single crochet and sew a short seam, you should have no problem making this pattern.
