The pattern is a recipe for a generic garter knit scarf with a keyhole or slit. It is a very easy pattern and can be a great knitting project for beginners to learn increases, decreases and making keyholes.

This pattern works well with any yarn with long color repeats. If using a different weight from worsted you will want to adjust the needle size accordingly. You probably want a fabric that is neither too airy nor too dense. Play with yarn and needle size until you are satisfied.

Yarn Used:
First picture - Red Heart Unforgettable, Sunrise colorway
Second picture - Universal Yarn Classic Shades, Cool Blazes colorway
