CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The sweater is knitted from the top down. First the back neckline stitches are cast on and then the side stitches for the neckband are introduced. At the same time, the location of the raglan seams is marked. When all the neckline stitches are identified and added, the stitches are joined to work the neckline in the round and increases are worked every second round at the four locations of 5-stitch raglans until the raglan reaches the desired length. Now, the Sleeve stitches at each side are transferred to waste yarn and the stitches for the underarm are added. Continue working in the round for the Body until the desired length is reached. Then, the ribbed bottom band is worked and the stitches are bound off. Transfer the Sleeve stitches to a short circular needle and pick up stitches along the underarm. The Sleeves are worked with decreases along the inner Sleeve to the desired length, the cuff is worked and, lastly, the stitches are bound off. Finally, the neckband is worked in stockinette to the desired height and then the stitches are cast off.
