I love the expression honeyed light. There is a particular shade of golden light that occurs at sunset that is reminiscent of liquid honey. The other shades of orange, red and purple from light to dark play and reflect upon the water, as the shadows lengthen and become even deeper shades.

They lure the eye down to the horizon where Old Sol bids us a final farewell as he sinks into oblivion until tomorrow, until it all begins again. You stand on Sunset Beach, where time stops on the edge of twilight.

Twilight is a time of enchantment, tranquility and the contemplation of possibilities. The magical hours between day and night weaving tales of time immemorial and imagination unfurled. Your mind is free to follow the fairy lights, dreams or whatever your imagination lays before you.

Sunset Beach is lots of squishy garter stitch for ease and sections of lace to keep even seasoned knitters interested, but easy enough for adventurous beginners. You can take your mind back to Sunset Beach anytime. It’s just a daydream away, as you work the garter stitch and let your mind drift back to the warm beach and honeyed light where it all started.
