The Sunset Crop pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner crocheter looking to add a few more skills/stitches to their repertoire and is an easy top for more experienced crocheters to make. Using a combination of basic stitches you will be able to create the funky striped pattern of the Sunset Crop. This top is perfect for the warmer months and would look great layered over a long-sleeved top in the colder months!

This pattern is made to measure, meaning that you can customise it to fit you perfectly.

I would love your feedback on this pattern! Don’t hesitate to reach out to me on instagram (@sarahmc.crochets) with feedback or if you have any questions about the pattern.

ABOUT THE PATTERN:

This pattern uses a combination of chains, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet.

To make this top you will need:

A crochet hook appropriate to the weight of yarn used

At least 2 different colours of yarn. I recommend aran/worsted weight or DK. You can use a lighter weight yarn than recommended as there is no required gauge for this pattern, however you will not achieve the same thickness of the stripes and the customisations for sizing may be more difficult for you to calculate.
