Sunset Memories Cardigan
Was born from a memory, while I was looking for material to knit something new, a dark golden yellow color rapidly caught my eye, it made me remember the sunsets at the beach, when things start to calm down and there is less people by the minute, the sun start to shine in a warm romantic orange and the sea breaze soon gives a cold feeling on the skin, that’s when I imagined a soft, warm, cozy and yet light cardigan for an evening on the chilean beaches.

Construction details:
It´s a cardigan worked from the top down, knit in flat with stockinette stitch in the body and raglan increases, sleeves are knitted in the round with stockinette stitch and decreases to the cuff.
The neck, cuff and the hem are knit in twisted elastic stitch.
The armhole is constructed by a lace design and increases
It has a buttonhole and the button band is knitted with knit stitch

Finished bust measurements:
81 (86) 92 (100) 102 (107) 113 (119) cm, measurements given are for the finished garment, this cardigan is designed to fit with a 7 cm of positive ease (the positive ease is included in the final measurement of the bust).

Yarn:
Corralitoyarns, merino yarn superwash, fingering, 400 m per 100 g.

Yardage:
815 (880) 950 (1000) 1040 (1100) 1150 (1210) m.

Needles:
3mm circular needles or adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Sleeves: on the sleeves when going from flat knitting to circular knitting you might change the tension of your knitting, that’s why you can continue with 3 mm needles or change to 3,5 mm with a long cable to make a magic loop or 0,5 mm more than the one you chose above.

Cárdigan Sunset Memories
Nació de un recuerdo, mientras elegía el material para tejer algo nuevo, rápidamente me llamó la atención un color amarillo, mostaza algo dorado que me llevó a recordar algunos atardeceres en la playa, cuando todo comienza a calmarse, cada vez hay menos personas, el sol comienza a resplandecer un color cálido anaranjado romántico y la ropa ligera con la brisa marina, pronto provoca algo de frío ahí justo ahí imagine lo suave, cálido y abrigador de este cárdigan ligero, pero lo suficiente abrigador para una tarde de verano en las playas Chilenas.

Detalles de construcción:
Es un cárdigan trabajado de arriba hacia abajo tejido en plano con punto jersey en la parte del cuerpo, las mangas están tejidas circularmente también en punto jersey.
El cuello, puño y pretina están tejidos con punto elástico retorcido.
La sisa está formada por un diseño calado y aumentos.
Tiene botonera y está tejida con punto bobo.

Medidas finales del busto:
81 (86) 92 (100) 102 (107) 113 (119) cm, estas son las medidas del contorno de pecho de la prenda terminada pensada para ser usada con una holgura positiva de 7 cm aprox por sobre la medición del cuerpo. (la holgura positiva ya está contemplada en la medida final del pecho).

Agujas:
Agujas circulares de un grosor de 3mm o el grosor necesario para alcanzar la muestra de tensión.
Las mangas al pasar de tejido en plano a tejido circular puede cambiar tu tensión por eso puedes seguir con agujas de 3mm o cambiar a 3,5 mm con cable largo para hacer magic loop o 0,5 mm más que el que elijas anteriormente.

Otros materiales
Marcadores de puntos 11 o más, aguja de lana, cables extras para dejar puntos en espera, botones equivalentes a cuantos ojales lleve tu talla de cardigan
