SKILL LEVEL: Beginner - Advanced Beginner - the pattern uses basic stitches worked together to create shells / chains.

GAUGE: Ch 18, follow rows 1-7 of the pattern. This should measure approximately 5.5” wide by 3.5” tall.

YARN: Requires a weight 4 yarn but I recommend using a lighter/thinner weight 4 as some standard weight 4 yarns may not fit the gauge.

SIZING: Sizing chart included in pdf - sizes included are S-4X

CUSTOMIZATION: This pattern has a few different customizations including length, width of front panels, optional fringe, belt and edging so you can make this vest truly your own.

This vest was originally designed to be duster style. In the photos, the model is 5’6” and wearing a size S/M. Without fringe, the duster comes to about the calves and with fringe, almost brushes the ground. You can adjust the height on this vest by removing rows.

When adjusting rows for height the front panel # of rows must match the back panel # of rows.

This vest is perfect as a beach cover up or layering piece and is a great transition from summer to fall.
