Make a little sunshine with this sweet free pattern.

Use as an applique or make 2 and sew together to use on a gorgeous mobile. Can also be stuffed as a 3D shape.

It measures approx. 2” wide x 2” high when made using DK weight yarn. You can substitute with Aran/worsted weight and it will be just a little bigger. It uses just a small amount of cotton so is perfect for using up scrap yarn.

It’s an easy pattern, but can be a little fiddly in making the triangles if you don’t have much crochet experience. Photos of each stage are there to guide you. You will need knowledge of how to do the basic stitches of chain, slip stitch, single crochet and half double crochet and also how to do a magic circle.

This style is perfect for a hanging decoration if you make 2 and sew together. Both sides will be the same.

It pairs beautifully with my rainbow pattern and a sweet cloud is coming very soon too. Together they make a really gorgeous mobile or window/wall hanging.

I’d love to see your finished suns. Please add your projects on Ravelry and tag me @thecraftytherapist or use the tag: #thecraftytherapist
