One of the simplest cardigans you’ll ever make! It’s perfect for beginners ready to make their first garment. This is a great transition weather cardigan - try wearing it on a brisk spring day or a cool summer evening.

Highlights:
This pattern includes both a pdf version of the pattern, as well as a link to a spreadsheet tool to adapt to any gauge. Using a drastically different yarn? Enter the dimensions of your gauge swatch (any size) and this tool will show you how many chains and repeats to use to achieve the correct dimensions!

Available sizes:
This is a very loose fitting garment and therefore forgiving in terms of sizing. I’ve created the following sizes for this pattern:

  • S/M (1)
  • L/XL (2)
  • 2X/3X (3)
  • 4X/5X (4)

Suggested Yarn:
KnitPicks Brava Worsted Weight
Note - this yarn works up similar to a DK yarn, therefore I highly recommend checking your gauge before beginning.

This pattern includes a link to a spreadsheet which allows you to enter your gauge for a fully customizable pattern.

Hooks Used:
6mm crochet hook
