The 2017 Sunshine Charlotte Blanket once again pays tribute to my beautiful daughter Charlotte, who died in July 2015. This business began with the first Sunshine Charlotte blanket (get it HERE), and now it continues with an annual update.

Difficulty: Intermediate
Size: 38” circumference
Yarn: Worsted weight (#4)

This beautiful baby blanket pattern is worked in the round. It starts with a mandala-like circle to represent the center of the sunshine. From there, a combination of ch-1 spaces and well-spaced pineapple motifs, create the rays of the sun pattern. Each row is written with a repeat, marked in asterisks, and the most difficult st is a dc3tog.

If you want to create a unique baby blanket for your next baby shower, the 2017 Sunshine Charlotte Blanket is a great pattern for you. Don’t forget to come back and post pictures of your finished items.
