The inspiration for this headband comes from me wearing a bun 85% of my time and running errands but needing something warm to cover my ears. The name was inspired by my nickname that was given to me by a very special person that is close to my heart. I also think the roundness in the cables makes a small version of the sun. The headband is also reversible, if you do not mind the seam showing a little bit.

The pattern can be knit on straight needles or on circular needles with 20” or 24” cord, knit in the flat, and the seams are sewn together to make the headband/earwarmer.
