Sunshowers Shawl is inspired by the warm, sudden showers in springtime when the air is softly buzzing with budding life, the already green canopy of trees is full of chirping rustle of birds, plants are slowly but surely sizing up the hugs of ever longer sunlight and every growing sprout, grass blade, tree or bloom is feeling the gentle trotting of tiny insects and bugs rushing through their spring ways. Those magical showers where you can see the sun in every rain drop as it clings to a leaf making the whole nature shimmer in liquid gold.

It’s a crescent shaped shawl, specifically designed to highlight the colourways of gently speckled yarns, adding an extra dimension to the overall texture. The shawl consists of a simple body and a wide pattern edge featuring a delicate and easy to follow repeat topped with tiny, light picots.

The pattern has been thoroughly tech edited and test knitted.

The pattern includes written instructions and also a charted portion of textured edge pattern repeat.
