Sunwalker Socks are designed as an ankle sock that can be made longer or shorter by working more or fewer cuff repeat or leg rows. They work especially well with long repeat self striping yarns but any fingering weight yarn works well with the slip stitch cuff.

Whatever size needles are usually used for the foot of your sock, one size larger is suggested for the cuff as the slip stitch pattern has less elasticity. This will allow better over all fit.

Instructions include an eye of partridge heel pattern, but any heel flap, gusset, foot and toe construction can be used.
