I wanted a big chunky sweater that was quick to work up. I couldn’t find the perfect pattern, so I made my own. It is simply made of rows of alternating double crochets and shells.

Pattern will make a chunky sweater that fits with positive ease on a small person (34” bust).

Using smaller hook and yarn with make a sweater for children and babies. For example, I used a 6mm hook and aran wool to make a sleeveless sweater for a 10 month old baby.

Pattern is made from the neck down, in one piece. It would be easily customised, if you have experience in crochet garment making
