I started this shawl while I was attending the Gastvrij Michottebuurt &Urban Stitches event in Leuven for the refugees of Lubbeek, Belgium.

This very simple pattern can be used to teach beginners how to knit a shawl.

It also has another purpose: keep you warm in a fun and easy way.
