Gauge is not important with this pattern, since it will be measured, however long you want it… The only thing important is that you use a cotton yarn for your bath scrubby. Wool may felt in the shower, and acrylic repels water and doesn’t feel nearly as nice… For cheapness purposes, I use Lily Sugar and Cream cotton yarn, 1 skein gets me 2½ scrubbies and I can get 1 skein for 1.79 at Micheals.
