This is a baby blanket made using a shell pattern in Tunisian simple stitch (TSS), and is worked in three colours. The author uses a 3.5 mm single-ended hook, which can be quite short, since a maximum of 12 stitches are worked at a time. The author does not state the yarn thickness, but of course any yarn could be used with a suitable hook.
