I’ve used Caron Simply Soft when making this hat, and a lighter worsted weight works well - especially for the frosting round.

The entire hat can be finished using about 1/2 of a skein of Caron Simply Soft. Pattern includes instructions for giving it a slouchy feel but please don’t hesitate to message me with any difficulties or questions you may have, I’m always happy to help!

I do eventually plan to add a matching scarf and gloves to this so stay tuned!
