The SuperCöze is a soft hot water bottle cozy that makes a great gift for a knitworthy friend (or, yourself!) as cold weather creeps in.

Knit from the bottom-up and in-the-round, the SuperCöze is also great practice for toe-up cast-ons like Judy’s Magic Cast-On or the Turkish Cast-On. If you don’t feel up to a seamless cast-on, you can cast on normally, join in the round, and seam the cast-on flat at the end of the project.

Yarn

For the SuperCöze pictured we used one 100g ball of a chunky chenille yarn, specifically King Cole Yummy in shade 4744 Sherbet Rose, but you are welcome to substitute another chunky chenille or super soft bulky yarn.

Needles

We found tension (10 stitches = 10cm/4”) with a 6.00mm/US10 needle. We recommend using the circular method that works best for you for small circumference knitting, whether that is DPNs, 16” circular, or longer circulars for magic loop!
