In stories featuring court jesters, the fool is often the only character with any sense.

It’s the clown, the buffoon, who offers sound advice to kings and nobles. Which makes perfect sense: It takes a keen perspective to make a good joke. These are the slippers for when you feel a little foolish. Your wits are at least as sharp as your knitting needles, and the only real fool is the person who takes things too seriously.

Note: Finished foot circumference is easily adjusted through blocking.

Construction: Slippers are worked from heel to toe, then felted.

Finished size: 10” (25.5 cm) foot circumference, 9 (9½, 10, 10½, 11)“ (23 24, 25.5, 26.5, 28 cm) foot length
