From the Pattern Introduction: Change the look by working deep bands in the main yarn color with narrow bands of two contrasting yarns.

Pattern repeat: This pattern is worked in a multiple of 11 stitches.

Notes on gauge: As with all of the stitch patterns in this book, the gauge is flexible depending on your yarn and hook choice. This stitch is popular for use in blankets.

Pattern Number 2 in the book, page 16.

Related patterns: Pattern number 1, Blue Lagoon, is the same stitch pattern differing only in color striping.
