Throw off the doldrums of winter and invite respite of summer, letting some relaxation and peaceful time come to to the surface. Perhaps with some water-side lace knitting? Designed to showcase Sundara silky cashmere in the ‘colour commentary’ series colourway ‘peace’, the Surfacing shawl is a simple but peaceful knit, allowing the luxury cashmere/silk yarn to bring soft comfort to your knitted accessory basket.

This is a pleasant shawl that will make the most of your skein of luxury fingering weight yarn – or even a favourite skein of sock yarn that’s waiting to be shown off as an elegant accessory. Worked from the top down as a shallow triangle, the Surfacing shawl starts with quick stockinette and then flows into two simple lace patterns.
