The Suri cardigan was designed to wear with all types of dresses, but with its slightly cropped length, and cotton/silk blend yarn, it looks especially charming over full-skirted party dresses and dresses with higher waistlines. It was named in honor of Suri Cruise, (daughter of Tom and Katie) who favors full-skirted party dresses as everyday attire; and we happen to know of several other rising stars who feel the same way! The Suri cardigan is quick and easy to knit, but sacrifices nothing in style. For the holidays or a fall wedding, you might want to consider making it with Brown Sheep’s Cotton Fleece. Just be sure to adjust your needles to account for gauge. This pattern is available as a pdf download.
