Sushi Vibes Overlay Mosaic Square
This fun Sushi Vibes overlay mosaic crochet square idea popped into my head randomly, as some of my designs will often do, and I think it would make some quirky pillows to add a unique “flavor” to any room, or make cute place mats for sushi connoisseurs! This pattern uses the overlay mosaic method mixed with tapestry color changes & would also work well for tote bags or in block afghans.
This Pattern includes:
• full row-by-row instructions
• detailed info for mid-row color changes & general crochet methods used
• fully colorized & marked single page chart for viewing on devices or printing out
• Links to helpful video tutorials showing the methods used
• Each square uses approx. 200 yards of medium weight yarn, although other weights & hook sizes can be used.
Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5mm hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.
Pattern is in US crochet terms.
