The Sussex Cowl is worked in a striking mosaic design. It is a quick and simple knit that uses only one colour per row.

It is worked in the round using a 3.25mm (US 3) 60cm (24”) circular needle for the edging and a 3.75mm (US 5) 60cm (24”) for the mosaic pattern. It has a diameter of 33cm (13”) and height 23cm (9”) but is easily customisable.

The sample is made with 50g of black 4 ply (fingering) yarn for the main colour and 35g for the green contrast colour. It would also look great with one solid and one multicolour yarn or with a set of gradient mini-skeins as long as there is sufficient contrast with the main colour.
