Suzie Q sleeves is worked sideway with a lace pattern. First, the right sleeve is worked in the round with increases, then, the body is worked flat and divided into the front and back to shape the neckline. After the neckline shaping is finished and the other side of the body is worked, the left sleeve is worked in the round with decreases. Finally, the edges are applied to the body and cuffs with a crochet hook, and bow ties or buttons are added to the front depending on your preference. Both written instructions and charts are available for the sleeves and the neckline.

Suzie Q Sleeves (スージー・Q・スリーブス) は透かし模様を用いて横向きに編みます。まず右袖を目を増しながら輪で編み、続けて身頃を往復編みで編んで、襟ぐりを作るために前後の身頃を分けます。襟ぐりを編んだ後、身頃の残りを編み、左袖を目を減らしながら輪で編みます。最後に身頃と袖口の縁をかぎ針で編み、好みで前あきにボウタイまたはボタンをつけます。袖と襟ぐりには文章パターンと編み図の両方が用意されています。
