Sven the baby reindeer is such a fun pattern to make this Christmas
Makes a great handmade gift for friends and family, or make one for yourself!
This is both a written pattern, and I have included over 130 photos along the way to help those visual learners.

When finished, this reindeer stands approximately 33cm tall

The legs and body are created together, the head is made separate as well as his ears, nose, antlers and tail. The scarf is of course optional as he would look equally adorable with a ribbon or bell around his neck

Materials and equipment

Yarn I used : Aran Wendy supreme acrylic yarn (worsted weight)
main colours - Full skein of white (100g), red for nose,
black for face features, Grey for hooves, antlers and scarf
You can use any yarn for this project if you would prefer cotton
Crochet hook: 5mm

Other equipment/materials:
Scissors, tapestry needle (sharp and blunt preferably), Stitch marker, stuffing, dress making pins or markers
15mm safety eyes
