PATTERN NOTES
Light and airy, but oversized and incredibly warm, the Swan stole looks just as good with jeans as it does dressed up for a night out at your favorite ballet. Beautiful Odette yarn creates a stole with amazing drape and a cushiony fabric without the bulk. Simple garter stitch is kept interesting with stripes and an easy-to-memorize lace insert.

The Swan stole is knit from point to point, starting with a single stitch and increasing to the full width. Then, the body of the stole is worked even. Finally, the decreases take you back to a single stitch. When working stripes, break yarn at each color change. To save time during finishing, weave in your ends as you go.
