Sweater «Driftwood» for Doll Ruby Red 14.5’’ (37 cm)
CONSTRUCTION:
The sweater is worked top-down in the round. The pullover has no fastening — it is put on from the bottom up, through the doll’s legs.
A design feature of this pattern is that raglan increases are made only along the front and back, while the stitch count for the sleeves remains unchanged.
MATERIALS:
This pattern is particularly suited for gradient yarns.
• Sock-weight yarn, e.g. Alize Angora Gold or Papatya Angora (20% wool, 80% acrylic): 550 m / 100 g (601 yds / 3.5 oz). or a similar yarn — approx. 20 g
• Also needed: Some waste yarn or two large stitch holders
TOOLS:
• Needles: 2.5 mm (US 11⁄2) double-pointed needles (DPNs) — 15 cm (6”) for the neckline, sleeves, and body; 20 cm (8”) for the yoke — or 80 cm (32”) circular needles for the magic loop method
• Markers — 5 pcs.
YARDAGE: ≈110 m / 120 yds
