These mitts are worked cuff down, meaning you will cast on and work rib for the cuff, work increases in stockinette stitch and split for the thumb and finger portions, and an optional i-cord bind-off is worked to give a neat finish. The pattern includes two sets of instructions, both resulting in mittens with the same fit, version two includes some more complicated techniques that result in a slightly neater finish – choose whichever you are more comfortable attempting as both result in a lovely and cosy set of gloves!
