Sweet Bunny
This sweet little bunny pattern comes with a carrot which you can attach either with a loop which slides around the bunny’s paw, or with sew-on snaps.
I would like to fully credit the Sweet Softies designer for the head design, which was borrowed from her Honey Bunny Realistic Rabbit crochet pattern.
If you are absolutely smitten with the carrot in the pictures but don’t want the bunny, the carrot pattern is available separately in my store, here
The arms, ears, feet, and tail are sewn to the body.
For this pattern, it is essential that you use chunky yarn. The bunny will not turn out at all the same if chunky yarn is not used.
I used Bernat Blanket “vintage white” for the belly and muzzle color-change; as well as Bernat Blanket “Almond” for the rest of the body.
The carrot was worked in Yarn Bee Cozy Occasion color “Butterscotch medallion,” for the orange part, and extra green yarn I had on hand for the leaves.
Please leave a ‘project’ of your garden bunny and a picture when you’ve finished! I would love to see it!
Enjoy!
