Sleep tight after knitting the Sweet Dreams Pullover into your wardrobe. The roomy fit of this sweater makes it a comfortable, flexible piece for Friday-night lounging. This pullover is worked in the round from the top down, and the balloon-sleeve cuffs are stretched during blocking.

Yarn Jo Sharp Classic DK Wool (100% wool; 107 yd 98 m/1 3/4 oz 50 g): #912 Brocade, 11 (12, 13, 15, 17, 18) balls. Yarn distributed by Kingfisher Yarn & Fibre.

Needles Sizes 6 (4 mm), 7 (4.5 mm), and 8 (5 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): 16” circular (cir). Size 7 (4.5 mm): 24” and 32” cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); removable m; cable needle (cn); waste yarn for provisional CO; stitch holders; tapestry needle.

NOTES

  • This pullover is worked in the round from the top down.
  • On Round 10 of chart, end four stitches before end of round, then use next eight stitches to cross cable, keeping marker at center of cable. Work last four stitches of next round in pattern in established.
  • To match the look of the sample sleeves, stretch the lower sleeve when you block it, but do not stretch the I-cord bind-off.
