Sweet Home Kentucky is the first of three hats named for my friend Rhonnie. I had been working on a hat combining garter/broken rib and an offset cable for some time, but it wasn’t working out. I had put it aside and (mostly) forgotten about it. When Rhonnie came to visit, she found an early prototype and insisted I finish writing it. As a result, the three hats I refer to as “The Rhonnie Collection” were finished.

Sweet Home Kentucky is available in three sizes and is worked in the round. Skills required include knits, purls, cables (3x3) and decreases (k2tog, ssk, and cdd).
