The Sweet Pea Mandala is actually a Mandala and bonus Coaster pattern set. Designed to work together on your kitchen table, the mandala sits beautifully under a vase of fresh flowers, and the matching coasters are a pretty addition to complement this setting.

These would make fantastic gifts for friends and family or you might make them to keep for your own use. You could also make the mandala into a wall hanging by sewing onto a square canvas, or placing in a glass recessed square photo frame. A set of mandalas could become great placemats for your kitchen table. It could also be suitable for using as a pot stand, if made with heavier cotton yarn, and could even be made double layered into an oven mitt.

Yardage given is for one mandala only
Yardage for a set of four coasters and one mandala is between 265 - 275 yds (240 - 250 m)

Project level - Easy to intermediate - includes post stitches, BLO stitching and surface stitching. The most challenging part of this pattern would probably be the post stitches.
