Sweet Relief
Sweet Relief is a simple triangle shawl knit with built-in flower stitches made by using the innovative technique of Assigned Pooling. Assigned Pooling occurs when a change in stitch and texture is assigned to changes in color within a quarter-dyed skein of variegated yarn. Sweet Relief pairs carnation stitches with simple stockinette and garter stitches to make a cozy accessory knit from the bottom up. It’s knit flat in two skeins of variegated fingering weight yarn engineered to work with assigned pooling.
Yarn 2 skeins of Sweet Relief on Barker Wool BFL Fingering, or approximately 200g of your favorite colorway dyed for use with assigned pooling.
Barker Wool Silky Solo, or Silky Quatro would also be great options. Find them all at BarkerWool.com
(Please note that substituting other yarns may yield varying results.)
