• 28mm Sew-on Safety Eyes

• 8mm crochet hook

Small Duck:

For the small duck any worsted weight is fine. They’re cute in every size and color! I like Loops and Threads Soft Classic Acrylic yarn. Bernat, Craft Value Yarn; anything will work . You’ll need 10 or 11mm safety eyes for the smaller ducks and a small hook to make tight stitches. I used a 4mm hook.

Size: The large, plush duck measures approximately 15-16” from tail to breast, and 13” tall. The smaller versions made from worsted weight yarn measure approximately 7-8” from tail to breast and are 7” tall.

Notes:

This pattern is written in US terminology.

The body is crocheted in rounds that join with a slip stitch.

The first chain of the round is not counted as a stitch.

Make the first stitch of the round in the same stitch as the chain.

The pattern is written for the large, plush duck. For the smaller size just disregard the yarn and hook size recommendations and use the smaller hook and different yarn.
