Sweet Snuggles Platypus
PLEASE READ to know what this PDF contains.
THIS PATTERN IS FOR THE PLATYPUS. The platypus pattern is a remake of my duck pattern so with it you should be able to make the duck, mallard and chick as shown in some other photos in my library.
This 12-page PDF contains THE BASIC BODY SHAPE AND THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PLATYPUS with mentions and parts of the duck.
I give loads of detailed information in my patterns with hints and tips and tricks.
I have designed this pattern to have almost NO SEWING!
This pattern is written to be very beginner friendly. I have a FULL PHOTO TUTORIAL at the end of the pattern FOR THE BASIC BODY SHAPE. There are 5 full pages of photos at the end with step-by-step visuals to make this a very beginner friendly pattern.
For the more advanced crocheter, these work up in under 2 hours for me!
These small toys range in size from 10-15” and require minimal materials and time.
This pattern was written for some of the blanket/chenille yarns currently on the market, but this pattern is very adaptable to many yarn types. You can see in the last photo that I have used a different furry yarn. I give details inside on the yarns that I have used. The safety eyes that I have used for the blanket yarn examples are 21-30MM
I use US Crochet terms.
I am here all to help and support you in any way I can after you download my pattern.
I would love to see your creations made from this pattern so please tag me on IG @theburgundybasket and follow my blog The Burgundy Basket for updates and more patterns.
