A cute long-sleeved pullover with a sweetheart neckline, knit in-the-round up to the intarsia motif, then split to front and back so (optional) intarsia may be worked, then seamed.

The knits and purls have been interchanged in the second column of instructions for the left side neck shaping on page 190, which applies to sizes M, L and XL only. Second column should read as follows from the top:

Graft shoulders is stated in the headline, but should also say in the body “Graft shoulders with Kitchener stitch.”

Not all agree with my use of Kitchener at the underarms, but this is how I made it, even though the sts were already bound off. Just work your grafting in the rows above and below the bind off. Or whipstitch it if you prefer. It’s the armpit.

Neck edging (added 4/21/2007)

Paragraph should end with:
“Pick up and k3 stitches for every 4 rows along RIGHT front neck.” Instructions to join for work in the rnd are correct.
