The Sweetheart cable knit baby blanket was inspired by those cozy heirloom cable knit sweaters that are hand knit and loved for a lifetime. While bringing in that sweet soft snuggly aesthetic.
This blanket is knit with a slightly larger needle size than suggested by the yarn weight to allow for the blanket to stretch and snuggled accordingly, while still maintaining a good density of yarn.

Size: 28in x 34in (Stroller Size), 45in x 60in (Crib size)
Needle Size: US 6 (4mm). Fits comfortably on 14in needles.
Notions: 1 Cable Needle, Stitch Stoppers (optional)
Yarn: (always use a little extra yarn, just in case there is a change in gauge or length of yarn purchased)
Stroller Size: Approximately 984 yards (311 grams)
Crib Size: Approximately 2,800 yards (900 grams)
Suggested Yarn: Snuggly Wuggly Yarn by Loops & Threads (Machine Washable) Weight: Light (3), (141 grams = 446 yd.) in Cotton Candy (You can substitute this with a similar weight yarn, make sure to do a gauge test)
