This pattern is knit in the round from the bottom up. The bottom is sewn closed after the body is knit and before the handle is attached.

As written the bag will be about 12” x 12”. The size will of course vary based on your personal gauge and how aggressively you block the bag.

You will need-

Worsted weight yarn in two colors, 1 dark (MC), 1 light (AC). For this sample I used Cascade 220 and used about half a skein of the AC and 3/4 a skein of the MC.
