CONSTRUCTION
The Sweetheart Revenge Top Dress is worked from the top down, beginning with the back neck and then working down to the armholes. Stitches are then cast on for the front and joined in the round. Short rows, a rib design pattern and hip increases create a classic silhouette, with sleeves picked up and worked in the round.

SIZE GUIDE
The Sweetheart Revenge Dress is intended to be worn with a negative ease of approximately 3 - 7 inches / 7.5 - 18 cm at the bust. The sizes are based on a bust circumference of approximately 28-30 (32-34) 36-38 (40-42) 44-46 (48-50) 52-54, (56-58) inches / 71-76 (81-86) 91.5-96.5 (101.5-106.5) 111.5-117 (122-127) 132-137 (142-147) cm.

Measure yourself before beginning to ensure that you choose the right size. For example: Your bust circumference is 32 - 3 = 29 inches 81 cm - 7.5 cm = 73.5 cm i.e. work a size S.
Because of the stretchy nature of ribbing, sizing for this dress is flexible. You may be able to go down in size order to achieve preferred fit. The more negative ease you choose, the more fitted the dress will be.

FINISHED GARMENT MEASUREMENTS BUST:
25 (29.5) 32 (36.5) 39 (43.5) 48 (52.5) inches / 64 (75) 81 (93) 99 (110.5) 122 (133.5) cm finished bust measurement. Garment is intended to be worn with 3-7 inches / 7.5-18 cm of negative ease built in.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
~ 3.25 mm US 3 circular needles 24/40 inches, 60/100 cm for the body

SUGGESTED YARN
Samples made in size XS. Below are the short sleeve yardages. For long sleeves add the amount listed below according to your size

Top: Hobbii Yarns Unicorn Solids in Burgundy (75% Merino Wool 25% Polyamide, 400 metres/ 437 yds, 100 g). If you are using this yarn, you will need 2 (3) 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (5) skeins of yarn.

Dress: Hobbii Yarns Unicorn Solids in Black (75% Merino Wool 25% Polyamide, 400 metres/ 437 yds, 100 g). If you are using this yarn, you will need 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (5) 5 (6) skeins of yarn.

Long sleeve: 124 (149) 161 (174) 186 (198) 211 (223) metres / 135.5 (163) 176 (190) 203.5 (216.5) 230.5 (244) yards.

Using merino wool or a blend with merino will work best for this pattern to accomodate stretchiness of the pattern. Though testers used a combination of silk, alpaca and cashmere with great results.
