The instructions are for a small 6 inch circumference and 8.
If you are a size 7/7.5 and depending on how you like your mitts to fit will determine what size to go by. A size small(6) will fit snug while the size large(8) will fit a little loose.
It is a stretchy design.
Knit in the round from the bottom up. Stitches are bound off and then casted on using the cable cast on method.
