SWIMMING POOL is the stunning turquoise colorway I used for the first sample of this summer shirt.

It is worked seamlessly from the top down, featuring a single lace motif on front . Short rows are worked on the yoke across the neck and shoulder stitches to create a better fit. The shoulders have the lovely detail of ribbed stitches running across the work. This stitch detail is created naturally when the shoulder increases are worked.

The sleeves are worked simultaneously with the yoke. At the same time the lace motif is worked at the front center.
Having this wonderful colored fingering yarn in my stash, I was looking for a matching pattern with a front motif and a cropped, raglan silhouette.

The SWIMMING POOL pullover is worked up quickly and the pattern is fun to knit.

Use neutral colors, tonal or solid. The pattern is so addictive, I could not resist to knit two pullovers in one go!
