This is a little hat in two shades of Aran weight yarn, knitted in the round, bottom up.

I had some odds and ends left from a wild hat knitting spree, and this is the result of some extracurricular fiddling with sticks and string.

I used approximately 75 grams of the solid shade, and
25 grams of the gradient as a contrast.

It’s loosely based on Andrea Mowry’s Shifty, the Big Blips. I like the way the purls make the contrast colour POP!

It is very easy to adapt to more or less any yarn, as it is such a simple little thing. Have fun!
