Swirl is a sweet little guy who would love to swim his way to your hook.

Perfect for using up odds and ends of fingering weight yarn, this little turtle is about 5” from head to toes. Use larger yarn and hook if you’d like a bigger turtle.

Swirl uses around 75 yards each of two colors. Or you could use a different color for each piece, turtle has 7-8 pieces.

Gauge for this pattern is not specified, creating a dense fabric that won’t show the stuffing is more important.

Safety eyes are recommended especially if this is intended for a child. Size 12mm safety eyes were used on the purple and multi turtle.
