This pattern file includes full color photo guides for some uncommon techniques. This block can be completed by crochet artists of every talent level, from beginner to advanced.

As written, the block finishes at exactly 12” square, with several measurements along the way to check gauge. It fits in nicely in a sampler afghan with many different patterns or works well with several identical squares.

This pattern uses 3 colors, cutting and changing colors after some rows and carrying the yarn after others. It works up with a great texture that looks incredible in a single color as well.

My 7 year old drew up the initial design for this block and we worked very closely together to tweak and adjust the pattern until it looked EXACTLY how she wanted it. We are so excited to finally be able to share the completed pattern with you and see what you make using it!
