Construction
This sweater is worked from top down, starting at the neck trim and worked in the round. The short rows are worked within the lace stitch section then continues to yoke shaping with increases, slip stitch textures and yarn color changes. It is then split at the armhole with the sleeve stitches held in waste yarn and the body is worked in the round. The sample is made with increases added every few rows to create a swing shape body. However, you also have an option to knit the body straight without any increases but please note that the body will be snug without it. If you want a looser fit, I suggest to add another row of increase round before splitting for sleeve or knit a larger size. After the body is done, the stitches for the sleeves are then picked back up and worked in the round with decrease shaping.
